  7. Hserv was born as an example of rxsocket.library archive, but it become
  8. so big and cute that I decide to release it as a stand alone application.
  9.  
  10. It is a HTTP 1.0 ARexx server, very configurable and funny.
  11.  
  12. The main features are:
  13. - basic file resuming implementation (e.g. works with httpresume)
  14. - run alone or as inetd service;
  15. - accepts GET, HEAD and POST methods
  16. - "If-Modified-Since supported", with a lot of date formats;
  17. - rfc1945 Auth supports;
  18. - rejected-ips;
  19. - mime types read from file, so you can had your mime;
  20. - text parsing;
  21. - in line ARexx functions in html documents;
  22. - ARexx, CGI and execs macros;
  23. - may require client ident service running.
